This department is enshrined in the study of the human and physical environment. We endeavour in an integrated discipline that examines both physical and human processes over space and time. Geography and Tourism helps us to understand our complex world. It offers us a bridge between the human and physical sciences. We examine natural processes and features, including the atmosphere, land forms and ecosystem, as well as exploring all attractions that our heritage. We concerned with the activities and impact of people on the earth, we aim the elevation of the society while mediocracy is relegated to the letter, while we entice the world in our great landscape.

The department of science comprise the branch of science that involves physical sciences, life sciences and natural sciences. Life science is one of the two major branches of Natural Sciences, which is concerned with non-living matter. Discoveries made in science are helpful in proving the quality and standard of life and can be applied to health, agriculture, medicine as well as the pharmaceutical and food science industries.

Mathematical stream is divided into two parts, Mathematics and Mathematical Literacy. Our vision and aim is to develop mathematical curiosity and use inductive reasoning when solving problems as well as become confident in using mathematics to analyse and solve problems both in school and in real-life situations. Mostly to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to pursue further students in mathematics. Develop abstract, logical and critical thinking and the ability to reflect critically upon their work and the work of others. Develop a critical appreciation of the use of information and communication technology in mathematics. Appreciate the international dimension of mathematics and its multicultural and historical perspectives.

• Mr Phago is the deputy principal of Pelotona Secondary.
• He work closely with the principal.
• He acts as the principal during the principal's (Mr Sehole) absence.
• He is the curriculum deliverer .
• He sees to it that all learners and educators have teaching and learning materials (LTSM coordinator).
• He monitors class attendance by booth educators and learners on daily basis.
• He also monitor that AAs upload learner/teacher attendance on daily basis and email the information to the relevant department i.e. to the district and province.
