Business studies, Economics and economic management science’s (EMS) the
long term of the BCM Department is to promote and support diversity inclusion
and equity. Encourage civil dialogue that considers diverse opinion and ideas.
AIMS
The aim of BCM is to unify and uplift societies blacks in particular to their
academic inspirations. We value every child input and uplift them to academic
desire or endeavour.
DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY, CONSUMER, LO
The History, consumer and LO department seeks to build its student s transferable skills, employability, and intellectual
curiosity, along with the missing public awareness about the past and its legacies, through teaching research and services
conducted locally, provincially, nationally and international.
AIMS
To provide teaching and learning focusing on development of knowledge, skills, venues, attitudes in learners. To enable
them to become responsible and informed consumers of food, clothing, housing and household equipment.
GEOGRAPHY, TOURISM AND SOCIAL SCIENCES DEPARTMENT
This department is enshrined in the study of the human and physical environment. We endeavour in an integrated discipline
that examines both physical and human processes over space and time. Geography and Tourism helps us to understand our complex
world. It offers us a bridge between the human and physical sciences. We examine natural processes and features, including the
atmosphere, land forms and ecosystem, as well as exploring all attractions that our heritage. We concerned with the activities
and impact of people on the earth, we aim the elevation of the society while mediocracy is relegated to the letter, while we
entice the world in our great landscape.
ENGLISH & TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT
English language is a medium of communication and it is very important as it connects with all subjects. Reading questions,
studying and making notes learners need to read and speak English with easy. At Pelotona English is (LOLT) Language of Teaching
and Learning thus earners are encouraged to read more “Do Extended Reading” Speak proper English to gain vocabulary i.e not to
run shots of words to express their needs and wants as well as to solve problem with easy “a Pen is mightier than a sword”
LIFE & PHYSICAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT
The department of science comprise the branch of science that involves physical sciences, life sciences and natural sciences.
Life science is one of the two major branches of Natural Sciences, which is concerned with non-living matter. Discoveries made
in science are helpful in proving the quality and standard of life and can be applied to health, agriculture, medicine as well
as the pharmaceutical and food science industries.
MATHS & MATHS LIT DEPARTMENT
Mathematical stream is divided into two parts, Mathematics and Mathematical Literacy. Our vision and aim is to develop mathematical
curiosity and use inductive reasoning when solving problems as well as become confident in using mathematics to analyse and solve
problems both in school and in real-life situations. Mostly to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to pursue
further students in mathematics. Develop abstract, logical and critical thinking and the ability to reflect critically upon their
work and the work of others. Develop a critical appreciation of the use of information and communication technology in mathematics.
Appreciate the international dimension of mathematics and its multicultural and historical perspectives.
SETSWANA & CREATIVE ART DEPARTMENT
• Setswana is very important in schools since it is a mother tongue.
• With mother tongue learners are able to express themselves easily. Learners must be taught Setswana so that they can be able to
integrate it with other subjects, Setswana is a means of communication.
• In Setswana, learners also learn more about idioms and other aspects, that help them to deal with their everyday life.
